The Beatles

Have I written about one of my favourite band? Yep! I do love The Beatles. I heard The Fab Four (the band's other name) for the first time when I was in kindergarten. My father liked to play its CDs. You know? That time I knew that I've already fallen in love with the song 'Hey Jude', one of many greatest songs sung by the band.

I forgot when The Beatles is known for the first time. The youngsters are firstly known as The Quarry Men. I forgot who the personnel were, but John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison are already in the band. Then they changed the band name to The Silver Beatles. At last, the youngsters are known as The Beatles.
In the beginning, the formation of the group were George as lthe lead guitarist, John Lennon as the rhythm guitarist, Paul as the bassist, and Pete Best as the drummer. But then, Ringo Starr came to replace Pete. Sometimes John and Paul played piano. The four of them are capable of singing.

They released the first single 'Love Me Do' in 1962. You know what? All the gilrs fell in love with The Fab Four. Everytime the band showed up, they were screaming. The band's haircut is followed by every youngsters. Here is the picture of the band when it was known for the first time.

After that, everytime the band played in concerts, anywhere, the girls always followed them, full of hysteria. They were screaming for The Fab Four name. The time goes by, followed by many hits songs like 'A Hard Days Night', 'Help!', and many more, until one time in mid 1960's. The band decided not to play in front of the public anymore. They were affraid that they were famous not only because of their creativity, but only because of theirselves (they were so gorgeous and handsome, I know).

The Beatles then try to add another feature in their music. They once went to India. But not for a long time, one by one got back to England. First Ringo, and then followed by Paul and John. Only George who stayed longer in India. After this, many of the band hits are influenced by Indian music. This too was known as the starting of the band's break up.

In 1966/1967 (I forgot the exact year), they made a surprise by performing on the rooftop. They sang 'Get Back', 'Don't Let Me Down', and 'I've Got A Feeling'. That was the first performance after they decided to stop performing in front of the public. The fans were stunned.

As the time goes by, there were many fights in the band, mostly between John and Paul, who were known as the band's frontmen. John often didn't show up at the band's practice time when Paul was there. When John was there, it was Paul who was not coming.

At last in late 1960's, the band decided to break up. They were performing alone as theirselves, sometimes with their new band and sometimes alone. John with Plastic Ono Band, Paul with The Wings, George and Ringo by theirselves.

In 1980, the world was stunned by John's death. He was assassinated by Mark Chapman in front of his apartment. The Beatles fans felt blue suddenly. A tragical murder by a lunatic fan.

In mid 1990's, The Anthology album was released. The fans were hoping for the band reunion. But Paul, George, dan Ringo were not intended to do so, although they were happy that they could play together again. In the album, there were two songs which John's recorded voice was complemented by Paul, George, and Ringo's performance.

In 2001, George passed away after his struggle from cancer. With only Paul and Ringo left, there's no possibility of the band's reunion. But sometimes they play together and help each other in other's album release.
